Cell Leader Training
How we train our cell leaders
Cell leaders are trained in our Cell Leader Orientation class taught by a Care Pastor, where the vision for cells is shared. It's a 4 hour class in which they work through the Cell Leader Training Manual & Workbook, available on our website, victorycells.com, under the 'Resources' tab. We also provide and ask them to read the book,
Breakthrough Cells, by Karen Hurston. This book is about Victory's Cell ministry, how it started and how it is currently structured, etc. It is also available on our website.
When they have completed the Cell Leader Orientation class, are approved volunteers, and have completed our Foundations class, a Care Pastor works with connecting them in a cell where they can apprentice in a current cell group. After a time of apprenticeship, the leader in training is released to begin their own cell group, under the guidance and direction of their Care Pastor.
We also encourage our cell leaders and all church membership to participate in completing what we call the "
Leadership Equipping Track." This is a series of classes, including, Foundation class, Encounter weekend for Men & Encounter Weekend for Women, Victory by Virtue (for women) and Straight Talk (for Men), DISC personality class, Cell Leader Orientation, Cell Apprenticeship. The Leadership Equipping Track is not required to become a cell leader, but it is highly encouraged.
All of the resources for our Cell Orientation class and Leadership Equipping Track are available at Victorycells.com under the 'Resources' tab.
